We’ve just returned from our first educational fair with Combo Wall – GESS Dubai 2025. It was an event that gave us not only an incredible amount of great conversations but also a clear picture of just how awesome our bricks really are 😉

But let’s start from the beginning. On our stand, the Combo Wall bricks went straight onto the walls.

We were visited by representatives of educational centres, teachers, and school principals from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel, Qatar, Egypt, India, and many other countries.

The most common needs we heard were:

• How do we make use of space when there’s no room for more furniture?
• How do we give children tools for creativity while still keeping things organised?
• How do we create something that won’t just become another toy on the floor?

And that’s exactly where Combo Wall bricks hit the mark.

Teachers told us that their schools have long corridors, relaxation zones, and waiting areas near offices that sit empty – but could easily become creative spaces. Preschool directors asked whether the bricks were safe for the youngest children. And as soon as they held them in their hands, they immediately noticed the rounded shape and softness – nothing sharp, nothing that could hurt small hands!

We were also visited by children, who, the moment they saw Combo Wall, instantly started building mosaics and tall towers. For us, it was a fantastic observation: vertical play naturally draws attention and offers far more possibilities than classic table-top building.

The biggest value for us – and for anyone working in education – was seeing how different cultures interpreted the same practical benefits:

• creativity, because vertical building encourages completely new ideas;
• tidiness, because the bricks don’t pile up on the floor 😉
• space-saving, because walls are an untapped resource;
• safety, because the shape and material make them perfect for working with young children.

What made us happiest were the questions: “When can we get it?”
And so, the first sets have already made their way into educational institutions across the Middle East, as well as several homes – because parents immediately saw a brilliant solution for their children.

These fairs showed us that educational needs are similar all over the world – yet the Middle East places an exceptionally strong emphasis on modern, practical, and visually appealing solutions. Combo Wall fit perfectly into this trend.

These were our first fairs with Combo Wall – and we already know they opened the door to an entirely new part of the world!
